Lintons Foundation donated 50 MINA cups to 50 lady refugees at the RefuShe offices in Nairobi.
The ladies mainly composing of young refugee girls were also introduced to the MINA cup to as an alternative, economical and a reusable menstrual solution.
The training was facilitated by Carol Mbogo and Lintons Academy and Dayspa Manager Purity Mawira- Muthuri who underscored the need to adopt to more innovative and economical menstrual solutions.
RefuShe is a human rights based organization that seeks to give holistic solutions to refugee girls who are vulnerable to human rights violations and abuse by local officials.
The girls may also may also suffer from trauma experienced from conflict situations and RefuShe seeks to give them an environment that can help them heal from the experiences.
