Our Programs

01

Program 1

Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship Fund invests in the education and future of vulnerable youth and women by providing access to accredited beauty and hairdressing training. Scholarships cover tuition, professional certification, practical learning, and career support, enabling beneficiaries to gain industry-recognised skills and transition into employment or entrepreneurship.

Key initiatives

Hair by L'Oréal – Beauty for a Better Life (BFBL)

In 2024, Lintons Foundation launched a landmark partnership with the Fondation L'Oréal and L'Oréal Kenya to introduce the Hair by L'Oréal programme through Lintons Academy. Developed under the Beauty for a Better Life (BFBL) initiative, the programme equips women from underserved communities with industry-relevant hairdressing skills, professional certification, and pathways to decent work, sustainable livelihoods, and economic independence.

KCB Foundation 2Jiajiri Scholarship Programme

Also in 2024, Lintons Foundation partnered with the KCB Foundation through the 2Jiajiri Programme to expand access to its flagship Beauty Therapy scholarship programme. The initiative provides vulnerable youth and women with market-ready technical skills, hands-on practical training, and a structured pathway to internships, employment, and entrepreneurship within Kenya's growing beauty industry.

HEVA Fund Starter Kits

In partnership with HEVA Fund, Lintons Academy and Lintons Foundation provide professional starter kits to graduates, equipping them with the essential tools and products needed to begin working immediately after graduation. By removing one of the biggest barriers to self-employment, the starter kits enable graduates to secure clients, launch beauty businesses, or transition into employment with greater confidence, accelerating their journey towards sustainable livelihoods and economic independence.

CSR Fund

The CSR Fund partners with corporations to create measurable social impact through workforce development, community outreach, employee volunteering, mentorship, and inclusive skills programmes. By aligning corporate resources with community needs, the Fund enables organisations to support scholarships, livelihoods, and social inclusion while advancing their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives.

Key initiatives

Zero Street Kids Programme with Lintons Academy

Through corporate partnerships, Lintons Foundation delivers skills training and holistic support for young people transitioning off the streets. The programme combines vocational beauty training with life skills, mentorship, psychosocial support, and pathways to employment or entrepreneurship, helping participants rebuild their confidence, achieve economic independence, and successfully reintegrate into their communities. It demonstrates how corporate CSR investment can create lasting, measurable impact by transforming lives while contributing to more inclusive and resilient communities.
